The leafy green available in the produce section of most supermarkets plays well against sweet and salty elements like the fresh oranges, pomegranate, golden raisins and parmesan cheese in this salad. Frank adds sliced almonds for crunch and a protein punch. A wonderful vegan side or main-course salad on its own, but you could bump it up with seared salmon, steamed shrimp or leftover rotisserie chicken.
