Recipe: Slow Cooker Black River Beef Stew

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs. beef stew meat
  • 3 large carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 medium baking potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can Italian-style diced tomatoes
  • 1 (10.75-oz) can tomato soup
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can beef broth
  • ½ cup Duplin Black River Red wine
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
Directions:
  1. In an electric slow cooker, combine all ingredients.

  2. Cover, and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours, or until beef is tender.
