Recipe: Duplin Mint Julep

Ingredients:
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 4 ounces bourbon whiskey
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • Duplin Sweet Lily sparkling white wine
  • Mint sprigs for garnish
Directions:
  1. Place 3 mint leaves in each of 2 rocks or high ball glasses. 
  2. Add 1 teaspoon of brown sugar to each glass.
  3. Muddle the mint and the brown sugar.
  4. Pour 2 ounces of bourbon into each glass.
  5. Pack crushed ice in to the glasses.
  6. Fill glasses to the rim with Duplin Sweet Lily.
  7. Garnish each glass with a bunch of fresh mint springs.
  8. Makes 2 servings.
