Recipe: Mulled Wine Slushie

Ingredients:
2 cups Duplin Muscadine Cider, room temperature
2 cups of Duplin Hatteras Red or Duplin Pum’kin wine, room temperature
1 cup orange juice
½ cup Duplin Mulling Spices mix
½ cup Electric Lemonade Sweetzer mix
2 cups of ice
6 ounces spiced rum (optional)
8 orange slices
Whipped cream (optional)
Cinnamon (optional)
Directions:
Mix Muscadine Cider, Duplin Hatteras Red or Duplin Pum’kin, orange juice, Duplin Mulling Spices and Electric Lemonade Sweetzer mix. Pour mixture into ice cube trays. Freeze trays for at least 4 hours or until wine mixture is completely frozen.
Transfer frozen wine cubes to a blender container. Fill remainder of container with ice (approximately 2 cups). Add spiced rum if using. Cover and blend until slushie & ice chips are very fine.
Pour drink into wine glasses. Garnish glass with a slice of orange and a cinnamon stick.
