Forget the Taco Bell nachos party pack. A platter of nachos is one of the easiest meals you can make at home and this recipe is loaded with ground beef, black beans, corn and as much cheese as you want.
We start by sauteing ground beef with taco seasonings and a little sweetness for hugely popular Duplin Hatteras Red wine. Just a half-cup goes into the meat, which means plenty will be left to sip with the nachos and that's a good thing. Hatteras Red pairs oh so well with spicy Mexican foods.
Once the meat is cooked start layering the nachos, and here's a tip: Spread tortilla chips on a baking pan so that they overlap just a little bit. That way, every chip will get some yummy toppings.
Feel free to add more or less toppings. Extra cheese is mandatory, but be careful to bake the nachos just long enough for the cheese to melt and not become crusty. Once nachos are out of the oven, spoon on sour cream and Duplin Gourmet Muscadine Red Pepper & Onion Relish or Duplin Gourmet Muscadine Pineapple Habanero Salsa.
