Extra Jolly Juice

A sweet winter berry wine slushie spiked with spiced rum and topped with a layer of creamy eggnog may be the most Christmasy Christmas cocktail ever invented.

Ingredients:

  • 1¾ cups Duplin Christmas Wine, well chilled
  • 1/3 cup spiced rum
  • 1 packet Duplin Jolly Juice Sweetzer mix
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 cups eggnog, well chilled
  • Garnish: Edible gold or red glitter and/or snowflake-shaped sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Chill four wine glasses in the freezer.
  2. While glasses are chilling, pour Duplin Christmas Wine, spiced rum and Duplin Jolly Juice Sweetzer Mix into a blender. Place top on blender container and whizz mixture at low speed for 30 seconds. Add frozen strawberries and raspberries to the blender. Place the top on the blender and mix at high speed until ingredients become slushie.
  3. Remove wine glasses from the freezer. Fill each glass three-fourths full with wine slushie mixture. Carefully top each glass with cold eggnog. Sprinkle edible glitter and/or snowflake-shaped sprinkles over the eggnog. Serve immediately.
  4. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
